Support Groups
Cancer survivors meet weekly or monthly to interact with each other. Each group is facilitated by a licensed mental health professional. Patients need not be in active treatment to attend a support group. We have support group members who are 25-year cancer survivors.
Creativity Classes
Along with our conventional support groups the support house offers creativity classes for our cancer patients. Those interested might enjoy Scrap Booking, Yoga, Tai Chi, Exercise, Pottery and Quilting classes.
Wigs and Turbans
The Beauty Suite is a private place for patients to try on wigs, turbans and hats.
Mastectomy and Other Medical Supplies
The private fitting room is supplied with breast forms, bras and other mastectomy supplies. We also carry ostomy and laryngectomy supplies.
Library
The Support House has a beautiful library with a wide array of books from cancer information resources to general reading. We invite our patients to come check out a book.
