The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House is able to keep its doors opened because of the community support for the Cancer Support Foundation. The largest portion of our funding comes from four fundraising events, Wine and Roses, Tough Enough To Wear Pink, Bootscooters Ball and the Celebrity Classic. A significant portion of our funding comes from individual donors through memorials, honorariums and general donations and gifts. Both hospitals, Sparks Health Systems and St. Edward Mercy Medical Center, also make sizable contributions to support our programs. The remainder of our funding comes from private foundation grants. These combined sources of funding make it possible for the Support House to continue to provide the free programs and services that offer hope and comfort to cancer patients and their families.
Other Giving Opportunities
Just out the back door of the Reynolds Cancer Support House is a place of honor and wonderful memories of those important people in our lives who have battled cancer. A path of engraved sandstones leads under a pergola and weaves to a rock retaining wall. A glance to the left is filled with trees plants stone benches and large engraved stones gracefully leading to a covered porch. The benches and garden stones are embellished with more names of loved ones whose family and friends chose to honor them in this most elegant way.
The memorial garden is a lovely place, an atmosphere of peace, a place for reflection and remembrance.
If you are interested in making a gift in honor or memory of someone special to you or to participate in one of our fundraising events or perhaps a garden stone or bench, please contact the Cancer Support House at (479) 424-1812 and we will be glad to help you make this very special gift.
